CHOIR CONCERT SUNDAY!

Our annual Christmas at the Alys is THIS Sunday at 3:00 p.m. Please come and check us out. This will be an great event to bring your families to! Hope everyone is having a great week!

The UAB "Opera Scenes" was a big hit! The place was absolutely packed out! There were people sitting and standing on the floor everywhere. The audience was such a great one too! Thanks to everyone who came out to watch! God Bless

Our choir was asked by the dean of arts and sciences, Dr. Thomas DiLorenzo, to sing tomorrow in Sirote Theatre at 4:00 p.m. Also, there is an opera performance THIS Saturday at 7:30 p.m. Please come and support your school and fellow students! Hope you all are having a blessed week!

Computer Music Ensemble performance tonight!!!! 7:30 p.m. in the Hulsey Recital Hall..... It's going to be pretty awesome! Come and check it out!

So, blog post number 2. There is an Opera Workshop coming up on November the 20th at 7:30 p.m. in the Hulsey Recital Hall. This is not your average opera performance however. It is "opera scenes" but it is actually scenes from several different musicals such as Oklahoma, Into the Woods, Music Man, and many more. Please come and support your school and fellow students!

This is my first blog.... We shall see how it goes. Yesterday UAB choir had a performance in Huntsville for the Choral collegiate festival. Brian Kittredge, UAB's Choir director, was very pleased with our performance. This is his first semester and year as UAB's Choral director. We have a concert this Sunday November 7, 2010 at the Alys Stephens Center  in the Jemison Concert Hall at 3 p.m. Please come and check us out.
